One of my favorite verses is “So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬. The context of this passage is a vision given to Zechariah and the image is powerful... I rarely think of olive 🫒 oil as fuel for a fire ... but that is the picture ... a steady flow of oil for the fire 🔥. In Gospel of John speaking of Jesus... “For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.” ‭‭John‬ ‭3:34‬ ‭NIV‬‬. It is the same with us ... God pours out His Spirit and it is like a spring of water that never runs dry... an olive tree that just drips with oil constantly flowing

Jesus was the first missionary. Sent by the Father. From Heaven to Earth. He had a work to do. He is our example. Jesus said as the Father sent Him... He is sending us. What work had God given you to do??? #mission #missionary #missional #real #life #miami

The First five books of the Bible were inspired by God but written by Moses. The point? one day the Messiah will come and defeat sin, death and the kingdom of darkness.

From Genesis to Malachi... the Old Covenant Scriptures are 100% inspired by God and still the living and active Word of God... and they point to Jesus!
